A-minor creeps along fault lines to soothe broken hearts, D-major tap-dancing, “Kow tow to the magicians rhythm!” We pray for miracles yet the gods have already delivered us complete with wonders, signs that surely we were here. And one day we fly away, again surely, to a place where the sweetest, most acceptably offensive combinations of melody made homes for themselves. Any we may have missed will find us there.

For, at the very least, heaven must be thus.

PS: Inspired when I discovered the song One Day I’ll Fly Away by Randy Crawford last night. I was blown away when I first heard this song. I’d been searching for new music (singers or genres I’m not familiar with) on Spotify and came across this song, clicked on it for no particular reason. Et voilà…

So what did you think?
